Topps' Star Wars Empire Strikes Back

These are the first of my cards to be approved by Topps... the watermark is a bit of a pain to work with, though the card surface is great for pencils and watercolours.

These are my returns.
...and the final set of cards approved by Breygent.

More cards approved by Breygent, who are a pleasure to work with, and the best company I have worked with so far, in terms of professionalism and quality (and quantity) of information.

Wow, it's been a while. Last time I posted, there were still flurries of snow and blasts of arctic air plagueing us here in the UK. Now Spring seems to be springing at last. The chaffinches and wrens are trying to out sing each other in the back garden, the daffodils are out and we've even seen some sun. I love the Spring with it's sense of anticipation and new life everywhere.

I've been working on two sets of cards - one for Breygent Marketing(see examples), and another for Topps. Breygent is releasing the Golden Age of Comics, so I've been brushing up on my comic art skills for those. Topps is releasing The Empire Strikes Back, so I've been madly screencapping & familiarising myself with that movie too. I've nearly completed the Golden Age of Comics cards. They've been fun. The examples posted are the ones approved so far.
