On eBay tonight:
The 3rd Doctor:
I'm currently working on something special for the Darwen Doctor Who day. I'll post scans as soon as I've finished. I'm hoping to have some special limited edition prints of a two new pieces of artwork, one of which will feature all the current Doctors, as well as some exclusive sketch cards.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm not very good at taking rests, and is probably the reason why I've been battling an underlying exhaustion for the last few weeks, which I can't seem to shift. But the work keeps coming in(which I'm not complaining about!). There's a Doctor Who day coming up in Darwen on the 31st of October, which I'm hoping to have new artwork and prints for.
I've also agreed to do three more sets of sketch cards, two for Strictly Ink and one for a company I've not worked with before - the new, revamped Inkworks.
Then there are commissions to complete before Christmas and new Christmas card designs...there aren't enough hours in the day for me!

The two cards above I've just completed are in a Chris Achilleos style(apologies Chris!) for a collector. I'm pleased with how they turned out, though I can take no credit for the composition and style of them. :) I'm a huge admirer of Chris' work. I hope he doesn't come and shout at me...!

SketchCollectors.com

I've done a reworking of the original 'Fire'. Much happier with this one's likeness, and it's nearer to the feel I was aiming for, in terms of Spirit...

I've just recently joined a host of other Sketch card artists and collectors over at

I'm posting my best cards over there at the moment and may eventually try and post ALL the cards I've drawn since I became a sketch card artist, two years ago. That will be a job and a half, as there are a LOT of my cards floating around out there. Strange thought that...

Clone Wars completed!

Today I had my final set of cards approved by the guys at Topps, packed them up and shipped them out from my local UPS depot. Hopefully they'll reach New York in time for the deadline.
It's been a challenging 4 weeks doing these and with other stuff going on. But I enjoyed the work. I've never replicated cartoons on sketch cards before. I found it enjoyable and easier to get likenesses than from photos of actors.
Looking forward to getting back to other projects now. I have commissions lined up, a show coming up at the end of October in Darwin, Lancashire and 100 more cards to do for Strictly Ink.
No rest for the wicked!

More cards...

Just had the green light on these... Nearing the end now. Phew!
