Hammer cards galore!

I've just visited:

Goodness! I thought my cards were pretty good until I saw the wealth of talent on offer here.

I particularly love Nik Neocleous' cards.

I need to keep getting better and better, so I do. Still only a newbie!

Wonderful cards! it would have been too cool to have been a part of this set. So, there was no problem portraying Christopher Lee? I'm doing some Lord Of The Rings cards and we can't do any Saruman images because there was no agreement with Lee.

Hi Bruce,

Haven't heard back from Stictly Ink any problems with Christopher Lee yet. I'll check that out, thanks. Didn't know there were copyright issues there.

I would love to do some LOTR cards. It's the main reason I became a sketch card artist. Any tips on how to approach Topps??

I don't know if it's a copyright issue or if it was that there was no licensing deal made for his likeness with the LOTR people.

I'm enjoying the heck out of doing these cards and today they asked me to do some more, so that's good.

I'd give you the art directors name and e-mail but that might not be proper etiquette. I'll talk to him and get back to you.
