I've come to the conclusion that I'm not very good at taking rests, and is probably the reason why I've been battling an underlying exhaustion for the last few weeks, which I can't seem to shift. But the work keeps coming in(which I'm not complaining about!). There's a Doctor Who day coming up in Darwen on the 31st of October, which I'm hoping to have new artwork and prints for.
I've also agreed to do three more sets of sketch cards, two for Strictly Ink and one for a company I've not worked with before - the new, revamped Inkworks.
Then there are commissions to complete before Christmas and new Christmas card designs...there aren't enough hours in the day for me!

The two cards above I've just completed are in a Chris Achilleos style(apologies Chris!) for a collector. I'm pleased with how they turned out, though I can take no credit for the composition and style of them. :) I'm a huge admirer of Chris' work. I hope he doesn't come and shout at me...!

Any news on the subjects for these cards...Barrie of Strictly Ink told me they were producing The Avengers 3 in December and they have a yearbook coming out soon too.

Whatever I know you'll do wonders with them as always

I'll be working on the Avengers 3Mono[I think}set. I've also been given some Doctor Who Big Screen Mono, 2000AD, Ray HarryHausen, Hammer Horror and CSI blanks to work on for the year-book. Hope that helps. :-]

Thanks Carolyn - as you may know the yearbook is about 90GBP so any information is good to get ;-)

The "revamped Inkworks" sounds interesting - is that for the remake of The Prisoner by any chance ?

It is for the remake of The Prisoner, your sources are correct.

I wasn't aware the Yearbook was so expensive. I wonder how many Sketch cards you are guaruanteed per case? I'd expect a lot for that price.
