Ok, I admit it, I spent longer than 20 mins on this one. More like 50 mins. I got carried away with all the tree foliage! The image was inspired by the film Avatar, which I saw in 3D at the Imax last night. It's a visually stunning film. And there are lots of flight scenes, with sheer dizzying drops from great heights! Pandora is not for the faint hearted!
I didn't try and recreate the flying reptiles of Pandora, I have no picture reference to hand of them, so I decided to use the dragons of Pern instead. I have no trouble visualising them from memory. :)
