I was enjoying the Prisoner cards so much, I thought I'd have a go at watercolour for my Sketch A Day. I used watercolour paper, and quickly realised that the paint sinks straight into the absorbent surface, instead of sitting nicely on top, as it does on the card, and drying into pretty shapes! I should have remembered that! So this study was harder to do and took an hour to complete. It was a good exercise though!
